in blues!

in blues!

recently my hubby bought a pool which is  about 8m in diameter and about 4 feet deep. Yes! it’s big i know. It easily fit 4-5 adults, of course without swimming inside la…. just for a dip!
Tia and Tishay offficiated the swimming pool with their first lesson with their dad. i can’t swim but can drown! i got a picture of Tishay learning to swim. i want to conclude that ….. babies are natural swimmers! unlike adults, some may be skeptical even try to stay afloat. but my babies are like pro! i can’t get a picture of Tia coz she wasn’t ready at time when the picture was taken. so babies out there…. throw ur diapers out and take a dip in this hot months, in your own HOUSE! *splashhhhhhhhh*

u know ppl say that babies r easily influenced by music, i mean to an extend. I think it’s true. Tishay will turn his head excitedly to see the TV screen when the astro commercial music is on. u know the part they show word ASTRO before they air the advertisment? yup that’s the one he liked most may be cause it’s louder than the movie itself or perhaps some unknown reason. Tia doesn’t do that, but she likes wording in TV and movements. The other end Tishay like repetitive loud music. He loves when the dad sing the same song over and over again until my ears bleed! they are twin but two different characters. But i admit music certainly helps the kids with their brain development. but the last thing on earth i want to get them is a Barney. c’mon.. purple dinasour? Helloooo! (no offence to others)  ;)

we r in midst renovating our house and the amount of debris it collected in HUGE. according to MPSJ regulation u must pay deposit for placing the dumpster (the garbage container look like) to MPSJ. Plus we got to pay this deposit during our renovation application with MPSJ. Which means u can’t take that service from others even though is much cheaper outside. Please don’t ask me why. It’s ridiculous i know! We are suppose to call them them we need the service, so we did.

We called them, they say their service is outsourced to Alam Flora. And they can’t get Alam Flora’s response on that matter. They got the chic to tell us, they got nothing to do with it!… &^#$^#%@…. U can say that to me… but my hubby couldn’t take NO as an answer. He called Hannah Yeoh (ADUN) ‘s office. They took the complaint in. They informed if they is no action from MPSJ within 14 days, this matter will be brought to the Local Municipal.

guess wat!…. that same evening!!! almost 7.00pm…. we got the dumpster! so i guess the complaint works!. but guess wat…. we called the wrong ADUN’s office. Ours falls under Puchong, Mr Gobind Singh. BUT STILL IT WORKS! yappy yappy! so citizen of malaysia, please do your part of channeling your complaint to right channel instead of cursing and swearing to your friends and family.

well, as my babies past their 7th mth birthday… i realised my hair balding problem reduced too. I used to see my shower trap filled with my hair even after 1 single short wash. i could have made into a wig if i were to to collect all my fallen hair strands! i feel i wasted my money investing in expensive hair treatment and care products for my balding hair. Now these things just rot in my shower cabinet!

oh i must tell u about the nice SunSilk conditioner which i bought accidently mistakening it for my normal hair conditioner. after a single wash, my natural hair curls become super bouncy!!!! shiny too! so my dear gfs…. there u go my secret for recent messy curly shiny bouncy hair…fallen in love with it. now i can’t resist washing my hair daily basis though i know it’s not a good idea for oily hair like mine… so sunsilk shiny and bounce…. bounce ! bounce away!

Tia & Tishay started on their solid food. hooray! Their first meal was prepared by their dad. the menu was pumpkin + cream + cereal + tiny bit to butter (daddy cannot resist adding some flavour to their food)….. i must say their dad loved the food so does Tia. not sure of tishay as he was like giving me the face ‘wat the heck is this! y my milk suddenly turned out like this’!.. that kinda of look.

so far we have experimented with carrot, winter melon, apple, potatoes, peas. I must say the like their mum… they hate PEAS!… hahahahahaha

wow.. it has been some time i blogged and for a moment i can’t even remember  my login username or password. well thanks to my bro’s engagement which took half of my left brain, 80% energy, millions of critics and loads of migraine resulting from it. it took me almost to weeks to recover from the anxiety. it’s not much of the engagement gift preparation works, but more of the stress due to ‘last minute’ works plus travelling first time long distance with my twins and last not least encountering various bizarre human behaviour (which not new in indian community)!

as some may know and FYI for those don’t know, when indians get engaged it must come with groom side gift for his future fiance. this gift traditional brought to the bride’s house by a troop of frens and relative from the groom’s place. it’s all depending the size of your wallet to determine the scale of your gift and celebration. the gift is carried using trays traditionally and usually comes in extreme simple tray decoration style for ages. but times are changing, bollywood influences trails, fashion magazine compels these days for better presentation for gifts. so we got to put our thinking cap on. my bro n SIL leave the ideas on my hands, which i dunno whether that was a good decision they have made.

Commonly the Malays usually do these fancy gift presentation for engagement which the original culture was originated from the Indians. but they have evolved in great magnitude. current trend they opt are bird cages, treasure box, silver craved engraved box or tray and the classic old styled ruffled ribbon still in for some. i refused to opt any of them as i again label them as common and in market style. these stuff are so ready made and easily can be purchased affordably at Nilai 3, Seremban. U go there, u throw a stone , u will hit into ready made tray gift shops.

so giving my left side brain some work, i came up with some ideas, which i finally decided on the indian doll tray which her dress flows out and cover the tray surface, which the gift the presented unto it. i was truly inspired by the the indian puppet doll called kathputli originated from rajasthan, india. they are actually craved from mango tree stick and then painted and decorated with gowns, saree, etc for puppet shows. i don’t know to carve, so as an alternative i used paper clay with armature finished with arcrylic painting. the dress was a saree material which was hand sewn in lengha style aka. bollywood. so the finish product is here which is truly HANDMADE by meeeeeeeee. BUT BUT i have upload only 2 picture of the 9 tray we carried. bare with me as the camera nor photograper used are so not profressional. plus the lighting we got was bad enough  and became camera’s nightmare! i was rushing like mad so i left the photo to be taken by others. but i promise that i will upload the professional shots when my SIL pass it to me! so enjoy the preview :D
